Iverna

Richard was a warm and friendly host when we spent two nights at The Iverna. The room was adequate for our needs, and the dog friendly policy was an added bonus. We'd definitely book again and recommend it.

We were so glad we knocked on that door. We hadn't booked, but Richard and his wife kindly found us two rooms, and they made us feel welcome straight away. The view was beautiful, the rooms were lovely, and breakfast was exceptional. We had a wonderful two days and would definitely like to return.

We spent nearly a week at the Iverna Hotel, my wife, daughter and me, and it suited us perfectly. The owner Richard and his wife, who were there at weekends, were very friendly and made us feel at home. The breakfast was superb, as good as anything a five-star hotel could serve. For a two-star place, it's first rate, though anyone after something more lavish might want a different hotel. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it had the basics we needed: a shower, wash basin, cupboard and drawer space, tea and coffee, and bedside lights. Like other hotels, it was under-booked to reduce Covid risk. We'd happily stay again if we're back in Eastbourne.

My sister and brother-in-law stayed here in early March and came away with no complaints. Richard looked after them so well, and they thought the room was excellent. They'd definitely choose to stay here again.
