Tony was flexible, efficient, and considerate of our privacy, which helped make the whole stay smooth and enjoyable. The room was very comfortable and the location was great. Highly recommend.

The suite has its own kitchen and bathroom, and the room was beautifully presented. My mother had a very comfortable king-size bed, and there was plenty of space in the room. The futon my son and I slept on wasn't particularly comfortable, though futons don't usually have a decent mattress, so I wasn't expecting too much. Outside noise was noticeable through the sash, single-glazed windows, but that's hard to avoid. The Guesthouse is lovely, with wonderful staff and a great spot near the beach and pier.

We keep coming back to Guesthouse East because we love it. We travel with our toddler, and it has everything we need. The rooms we've stayed in have all been large, with incredibly comfortable beds, and the kitchens are stocked well enough to make cooking or packing picnics easy. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Guesthouse East for part of our honeymoon in 2009 and had a lovely time. The staff were very friendly and helpful with our little one. We could watch TV downstairs while the baby slept with the monitor, which worked brilliantly. It's well located, almost on the corner, and we found parking just around the corner. We enjoyed breakfast and ate dinner there too. Recommended!

We felt part of the family from the moment we arrived for our two-day break. This was the friendliest, most comfortable 'home' we've stayed in, and nothing was too much trouble. Free parking, free Wi-Fi, and excellent full English breakfasts were all part of the welcome. We've already booked another visit!
