The hosts are easygoing and happy to help, and the rooms have plenty of space and rustic character. There’s time here for both exploring and taking it easy. Each morning, the sea air hits your face as you look across that gorgeous stretch of English countryside. You’ll know you picked well. It’s a special, beautiful place, and you’ll feel special there too. Enjoy it.

We had warm, welcoming hosts and really comfortable, high-end furnishings in this wonderful cottage. I spent a week here, with amazing views of Friston Forest and the White Horse, and several major walking paths nearby. It feels like a rural escape, yet it’s on busy Jevington Road, so getting here by car or bus is easy. You can walk to The Tiger in East Dean, or go on to Birling Gap if you’re feeling fit.
