The Niche

Ed & Rob made us feel so special at The Niche. They’d even left a birthday cupcake and card, along with lovely details in the room and treats for our pup Nova, which she loved. Breakfast was amazing, too. We’ve only good things to say about our stay, and it’ll be hard to beat!

The Niche is beautiful, immaculate and full of incredible décor. Ed & Rob are such lovely people, and the hospitality was amazing. The fresh breakfast was delicious, with something to suit every taste and dietary need. It had everything we could want from a B&B and more. Can’t wait to return. We stayed at The Niche for our wedding in Eastbourne and couldn’t have asked for a happier stay. The hosts were friendly and fabulous, our room was lovely and comfortable, and breakfast was varied and delicious. I’d recommend this B&B to anyone after somewhere much nicer than an average B&B. We’d definitely come back.

I’m still cross, because The Niche has spoiled me for every other B&B! The welcome for our picky little labradoodle was unlike anywhere we’ve stayed before. He was relaxed and happy, and Bertie and Hudson were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The South Downs are right across the road, with spectacular dog walks, and we had a stunning garden just beyond our terrace doors. The place is luxurious, gorgeous and so comfortable, with thoughtful touches waiting when we arrived and lavish boutique-hotel décor. We couldn’t have been looked after better, and Ed’s hosting and breakfast were to die for. We’ve never stayed anywhere quite so wonderful. If you’re thinking about booking, just do it. It’ll exceed what you expect from a bed and breakfast. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Thanks, Ed. I’ll definitely be back and hope to meet Rob next time too. Mel x
