B&B Hotel Inverness Hotel

The bed was very comfortable, the shower worked well, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is nice for the quality and central location, and I found the price reasonable. There’s a nice bar, though the prices were a shock: pre-dinner drinks cost £94, which is why I’d rate the hotel 9 rather than 10. We had breakfast with relatives, so I can’t comment on the hotel breakfast.

Fab stay, great staff, amazing rooms, and excellent value for money. We parked at the big parking block just around the corner. Had the best time and will be back. Absolute 10/10.

We paid extra for a refundable room, but our plans changed and I tried to cancel 36 hours later. The original confirmation said to call the hotel, but I was then told to cancel on the website, which wasn’t possible. I had to call repeatedly to request the cancellation and refund. Each time, I was told management knew about the issue and was working on the refund. After a month of this, I disputed the charge with my bank. Weeks later, the bank is still trying to get a response from the hotel. If you stay here, make sure your plans are firm, because they won’t refund you even if you paid extra for a refundable rate.

I arrived late from the airport and check-in was quick. The bed was comfortable with a warm duvet. I would have preferred a double, but the beds were arranged so I could easily push them together. The shower was good, though it’s easy to get water all over the bathroom floor. I slept perfectly, even with the bedroom window overlooking the main street. I was on the 2nd floor, two floors above ground level, and wasn’t woken by traffic or commercial noise. When I left around 9.40am, there was no one behind the bar to return my room keycard to, and I couldn’t see a drop box. I had to catch a bus, so I left it on the shelf behind the bar counter and headed out.
