The meal by the fire on our first night was delicious, and the bar had such a lovely feel. The food was excellent throughout; the Chateaubriand was the highlight, perfectly cooked and great with the house red. Breakfast each morning was outstanding too, and the whole team made us feel like family. The locals were just as warm and friendly. My partner and I, a couple in our mid-50s, spent three nights at The Ebrington Arms. The building is stunning, and we were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived. Our room was cosy, spotless, clearly well cared for, and had a beautiful view. A memorable stay in a wonderful setting. 10/10 from us.

The room had loads of charm, with a rustic feel. You can hear the old-house acoustics, but that’s part of the experience. We stayed one night and had dinner and breakfast, and both were wonderful. The food was unexpectedly delicious, from starter to dessert, with quality ingredients and a great chef 👨🏻🍳. Breakfast was gorgeous, and that was the best bread in Britain I’ve had so far. We recommend it!

The beef shin rosti is a must, and hats off to the chef(s) for food that was truly outstanding and a surprise. Patrick was super throughout our overnight stay. Such a cosy pub in a quiet, quaint area, and a lovely escape from the big city. Happy wife, very happy life.

The puddings were wonderful. I had the white chocolate and cranberry bread and butter pudding, maybe the best I’ve ever eaten, buttery smooth and full of fruit flavour. The blueberry cheesecake was fabulous too. Before that we shared snacks, and my favourite was the pheasant and chestnut croquettes. I could’ve eaten a whole tub. My duck main was so delicious, and the beef my father-in-law ordered looked amazing. My husband’s fish with chorizo and bean cassoulet didn’t match our mains, unfortunately. I think it needed more garlic and chorizo, plus something like pesto or chive oil to perk it up. Thanks for an amazing meal at this lovely pub. The food is always amazing, and we’ll be back soon!

We booked Room 4 at the last minute for one night, looking for a cosy double room with a big bath in the Cotswolds and good pub food. It ticked all the boxes. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the restaurant had good gluten free options. My only small complaint was the lack of gluten free bread, though we had booked late. The manager was friendly and very helpful. A lovely overnight stay, and we’ll come again.
