The County Arms gave us a marvellous week in Truro, and we were glad we chose it for our seven days. The room was spacious and everything was clean and tidy. The lighting was proper, which is rare in hotels, and we loved the big fluffy towels. They changed the bed linen every other day, more often than we really needed. Breakfast had an amazing range of freshly prepared food. We tried most of the dinner dishes too, and they were all tasty, with generous servings and friendly service. The only thing I’d criticize is the coffee, it was weak and flavourless, so luckily we’d brought our own. There’s also a huge car park, which you don’t find very often these days.

We came as a family group of 13 for Sunday carvery, including five children under ten, and everyone made us feel welcome. The portions were generous, the food was great, and the staff were polite and attentive. We’ll be back!

The hotel staff were so welcoming and accommodating to my sister and me, especially during a very difficult time. My stay at County Arms Hotel was everything I could have hoped for. I’d recommend the hotel and pub to anyone wanting a good hotel in a good location.

When we’re near truro and after a quick, good meal, this is our regular restaurant. The service is friendly, fast and efficient, and the prices are reasonable for the area. It’s clean and tidy, with easy parking. The menu is pub food with plenty of local produce. Well worth eating here.

We had a really enjoyable one-night stay at the County Arms in Truro. The room was lovely and had everything we needed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant had a nice atmosphere, and breakfast was a really good full English. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend the hotel.
