The service was so good that I haven't had an experience like it in a long time. The manager on duty when we checked in was especially lovely, and all the staff seemed to care. They were friendly, helpful, and professional. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. I liked the room, though a brighter light in the living room or bedroom would help, and a small table in the living area would be useful.

We had a lovely stay at the Hawes inn. The room was cosy, clean, and well looked after. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were so friendly. I'd highly recommend it.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room, restaurant, and hotel all had a quirky character that was a nice change from copy-and-paste chain hotels. I hoped to eat in the restaurant on the night I arrived, but it was fully booked. It might help to give residents priority or make it clearer how popular it is and that you need to book.

We had a wonderful time. The room was clean and spacious, with a fantastic view, and the bathroom facilities were good. The food was excellent, though we waited a long time for drinks while dining. I enjoyed chatting with the stylish woman in charge. The young man at the bar was lovely, polite, and helpful. I'd definitely recommend the place and come back 😊.
