The Abbey Residence

The hotel is outside the city, so it’s quiet, though there’s a bus nearby to get around. Our room was clean, and staff were available whenever we needed them. Milan deserves a special thank you for being so welcoming and kind. He made everything easy, and the packed breakfast we received early on our second day was really useful while we were on the go. We felt so well looked after. I’d definitely recommend this place.

The bus stop right across the road made it easy to get around Edinburgh, and parking was free. I slept well in the comfortable bed, and the room was a great size and lovely and quiet. Breakfast was good too. They first upgraded me from a single to a double, then moved me to an even better room when there was a water supply problem. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. For what I paid, it was excellent. Thank you!

Milan was a real star, nothing was too much trouble and his service was fantastic. We had a late check-in, but the hotel is staffed around the clock, so it wasn’t an issue. There’s ample free parking and great transport right outside. We spent two nights here for a weekend in Edinburgh city centre. The beds were big and comfy, the room had everything we needed, and there’s a bar downstairs. Milan’s a great asset to the hotel!

The room was clean and thoughtfully arranged, and the bathroom was spacious and pleasant. The suitcase stand came in handy too. Milan welcomed us, spent time with us over three evenings, and came out to say goodbye when we left. He’s amazing, thank you for everything 😘. The service from everyone was so kind and helpful.
