Great Fosters - A Small Luxury Hotel

Plenty of parking, and they even made a separate tea for my seven-year-old. She absolutely loved it. The food was beautiful, with great attention to detail, and the staff looked after us from the moment we arrived. They were warm, friendly and really professional. What a gem. Thank you so much!

We booked at the last minute for a basic stopover and didn’t realize how lovely the hotel, grounds and facilities would be, including the Michelin-star restaurant. Great value for money. The staff deserve the biggest praise. We’d made a mistake with our booking, and reception, led by Gabon the manager, went above and beyond to help. Everyone else was great too. I’d highly recommend it.

Will turned the morning around for us. When the breakfast manager told us abruptly that breakfast was no longer being served at 10, it was only 9:50, and there’d been no greeting or welcome. Maybe it had been a tiring morning, but the serious, unwelcoming way we were spoken to was what bothered us, not that breakfast itself had ended. I run a restaurant myself and understand how exhausting hospitality work can be. Thankfully, Will kindly took my two friends and me to another lounge, where we were warmly welcomed for coffee and refreshments. His professionalism and friendly manner completely lifted the mood. Thank you for the lovely hospitality.

Charley helped make our short UK layover feel special, answering all my questions beforehand and arranging a surprise whiskey tasting and birthday treat for my husband. We arrived to warm scones, a birthday cake and drinks in our room, beautifully set out. The room was fabulous and had everything we needed. The buildings, artwork, fresh flowers and landscaped grounds were beautiful, but the staff were the real highlight. Everyone was helpful without being pushy. I can’t thank Charley and the team enough for such an indulgent stay.
