The owners live next door and welcomed us warmly, then gave us space to enjoy the house. We knew we could contact them if anything came up. Everything was spotless, from the lovely bathrooms to the furnishings and toiletries, and the house is finished to a very high standard. We had everything needed to cook a big roast, even a gravy boat. Eating together in the dining room felt special, with its carved chairs and ornate wooden walls. There were twelve of us across three generations, and there was room for everyone during our three-night stay. On a cold, wet day we gathered by the fire, played the board games, watched films on the smart TV and snuggled up on the big sofas. Then we got a warm, sunny day in the almost magical garden. There was plenty of outdoor seating and safe space for the kids and dog to run around. The house works well in any season and is in a peaceful spot, ideal for proper family time. It's a short, beautiful walk to the nearby Iron Age village, and Poppit Sands is an easy drive away. We'll definitely return.

Martin was a really welcoming and helpful host, and the peaceful patio and garden were a treat, sheltered from the coastal wind while we were there. We stayed two nights and already want to come back and explore more of the house and area. There were six spacious bedrooms and five bathrooms in this immaculate, recently renovated property. The lounge was comfortable, the dining room beautiful, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Several people could cook at once without getting in each other's way. Our group included mature adults, young teens and a dog, and it was one of our favourite holiday homes. We all agreed it'll have a regular place on our calendars. A fantastic house!

The garden, stream and pond made for a lovely quiet place to unwind. Mr. Martin was warm and welcoming, and his tips on local food and things to do helped make the trip more enjoyable. We also appreciated the comfortable bed, fresh towels, complimentary toiletries and well-stocked kitchen. Our group of twelve, aged from 3 to 70, had a delightful much-needed holiday at Glanduad Fawr. The property was spotless, tastefully decorated and had what we needed for a comfortable stay, with a nice balance of comfort and luxury. It sits in a peaceful spot but is still close to local attractions and beautiful beaches. Glanduad Fawr exceeded our expectations, and we'd love to return. We highly recommend it, whether you want a quiet retreat or a base for exploring the area.

Martin's local tips were spot on. We tried several during our week, from fish and chips to dolphin tours. He greeted us, showed us around and had left a lovely welcome package. He's incredibly kind and a brilliant host. The house is easy to find, in an excellent location with several great beaches a short drive away. We had a great holiday and would recommend it without hesitation to any group wondering if it would suit them. The children loved the stream and pond, while we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The house is spotless, generously sized and set in stunning scenery. There are plenty of bathrooms, all hotel quality, and the bedding and towels are top quality. The facilities are excellent, with thoughtful extras that make a big difference. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We've rented many places over the years, and this was a real favourite. We'll absolutely look to book again.

Castell Henllys and the lovely little village of Newport are close by. We enjoyed exploring the villages, walking through the countryside and along the beautiful coast, as well as just taking it easy in the quiet. The owners were friendly and helpful, and their attention to detail showed throughout our stay. Glanduad fawr has a warm, welcoming feel. The kitchen was well equipped for making meals, the living room was comfortable, and the log burner was a treat. We loved the dining room's original 17th century panels and huge table, which could seat twelve or host a game of Dungeons and dragons. The bedrooms were peaceful, and the contemporary en-suites had all the modern comforts. It was a lovely home in the Welsh countryside, and we'll definitely book again for our next family get-together.
