I usually stick with familiar hotel chains because I know what to expect, but Moraybank Guesthouse has made me rethink that. I was in Elgin for business, and the owner kindly arranged a late check-in. She was there to welcome me, with the room ready for my late arrival, and was attentive while understanding I just needed to get in and sleep. Off-street parking was handy, and my room was large and luxurious, with a sleigh bed, lovely furnishings and everything I needed. Breakfast was lovely too. Warm and welcoming, just how a guest house should be. I’d highly recommend it.

After 15 years on the road for work, this is easily one of the best guest houses or B&Bs I’ve stayed in. I prefer places like this to hotels. The owners are attentive, the welcome is warm, the room is lovely and breakfast is great. In my view, it deserves five stars, and I’ll recommend it to friends and colleagues.

Zofia made me feel completely at home. She was warm, friendly and professional, and made sure I had a really comfortable stay. This is an amazing B&B in Elgin, one I’d recommend to anyone again and again. Five stars plus!

I spent two weeks here recently and enjoyed every minute. It’s a lovely B&B in a beautiful spot, tastefully decorated and spotless, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was fabulous, especially the fresh coffee and delicious porridge. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m back in the area.

I’ve been coming back when visiting Elgin for the last 12 years and always enjoy my stays. The owner is friendly and helpful, and the B&B is clean and comfortable with a great breakfast. I’d recommend it for either a short visit or a longer stay in the area.
