I slept really well here. The room was spotless, and the bed was the most comfortable I've had in a UK hotel. Breakfast in the morning tasted great and was good value. A cheap place near Liverpool, and one I'd definitely recommend.

The room was well kept, and we got a warm welcome from the friendly staff. The food was good too. The enclosed staircase keeps noise from travelling upstairs, which was handy. I'd happily stay again. One small thing: it'd be good to have a sugar-free cola with meals, like Pepsi Max, Diet Coke or Coke Zero.

Sarah Tarry and her team were wonderful when we held our wedding here. They couldn't do enough for us, and the day went smoothly from start to finish. The gardens looked beautiful, the hotel was spotless, and our guests had lots of compliments for the food. You'd be in good hands for a wedding, christening or funeral here. Thank you, Carol & John.

The garden was absolutely stunning, and I may or may not have enjoyed a glass or two in the sunshine. We had a lovely one-night stay, my family and I, including my wife and our 2 year old. The staff were kind and professional, our room was spacious, the bed was comfy and the shower was fantastic. Lovely place, don't pass up a chance to stay.
