The Shore

We only stayed one night, after looking into hotels in the area, and weren't disappointed. The staff were friendly and professional, and the hotel was very clean, including our room. We had a few drinks in the bar but didn't eat at the restaurant. It got busy later, though everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves; once we went to our room, we couldn't hear the bar below. Breakfast was very good and the portions were a good size. We'd definitely stay again.

The room was tiny, the bed uncomfortable, and with just one pillow. The walls are paper thin, so I could hear everything next door and kept waking up. As an annex of the hotel next door, this place feels forgotten about. I had no choice but to stay because the festivals had left so few hotel options. Breakfast was good, though.

Since my last visit, the hotel has been refurbished completely and to a very high standard. The decor is beautiful, rooms come in a variety of types, and all have modern facilities. It's a total transformation from a few years ago.

I've stayed here many times and love the warm, comfortable, modern rooms. They're spotlessly clean, and come with a hairdryer, dressing gowns, shower and hair shampoo, plus tea, coffee, chocolate and more. The restaurant is beautiful, and the chef even wrote down the recipe for my meal and gave it to me. The bar and waiting staff are excellent too. Don't hesitate to stay here xx
