Our two days at The Poets House for our wedding were unforgettable. The setting felt like a calm, enchanting escape, and the beautiful surroundings, lovely food and thoughtful touches kept giving us those wow moments. We wanted our friends and family to have a day they’d remember, and the celebration surpassed what we’d hoped for. Christine, Sara and the whole team supported us throughout the wedding planning and went above and beyond on the day. Their professionalism, warmth and attention to detail made us feel like family. We were overwhelmed by how much care and dedication they put into all the small details. Thank you for helping make our wedding so special and magical.

We all left full, happy and feeling festive after a lovely family lunch. The Christmas atmosphere was cosy and just right for getting together, and the food was delicious and beautifully prepared. The service was outstanding too, warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. Highly recommend!

We had a small, romantic wedding at the Poets House in October 2025. Sara and the team did so much to make the day special. It’s a wonderful wedding venue, with lovely staff. Thank you all, you were amazing 👏

We popped in as a birthday treat for my partner and enjoyed the lovely views with champagne and a snack. The staff were very friendly. One small piece of feedback, my latte was tepid. We also asked twice for water from two different staff members, even though it wasn’t busy. It seemed like a simple request that would help guests.

The Sunday roast was generous, beautifully cooked and really enjoyable. It arrived on hot plates, a small touch that meant the meal stayed warm. The dining room was elegant but relaxed, with plenty of space to chat comfortably. We’d come to Poets House on a recommendation, and the staff were polite and attentive throughout, balancing friendliness with professionalism. I’m glad we tried it and would happily return for another roast.
