The location is excellent and the price is very good. Nobody was there to greet us on arrival, but we could collect the keys and the directions were clear. Our room was spacious and very clean, though a little dated. The two ladies handling breakfast and checkout in the morning were very polite. There was a good range at breakfast for the price. My only criticism was slightly fatty bacon and no sausages in the full English. I’d stay again.

The room was spacious for the price, with tea and coffee, Freeview TV, and a great shower. I slept well despite a steady buzzing overnight and thin walls. The Wi-Fi had no signal, and breakfast was disappointing. Nobody was there to welcome me, even though they’d asked me to confirm my arrival time. It was good value, but only good, not great.

Breakfast was great, with a Full English as well as cereal and toast, and there was tea and coffee in the room. The place felt clean, homely and welcoming, and the staff were polite and friendly. It’s a five-minute walk to the village, with a good Indian restaurant opposite, and Cambridge is about a ten-minute drive away. I’d recommend it and stay again.

I couldn’t wait to leave after a horrendous night. The bed was very hard, and I couldn’t shower because the water was freezing. I called the number by the door and a rather large man arrived about an hour later. He looked unwell and couldn’t help. On arrival I couldn’t get in, so I rang the number on a card in the window. A very rude woman told me the key was down the side of the house, where I found it and let myself in. The hallway was small and smelled strongly of urine. Don’t waste your money.

We had one of the family rooms, which was roomy enough for our two boys. Some rooms could use a bit of touching up, but for the price it’s hard to complain. The staff were all really friendly and breakfast was great. A lovely B&B.
