Sandra from the events team deserves a mention, along with Frances and everyone in the restaurant. They made our wedding lunch on Saturday feel really special, and didn't hurry us along at the end even though we probably stayed longer than expected. My husband and I appreciated all the effort. The meal at the Rockfield restaurant was delicious, and there was a good wine selection. We also enjoyed a few cocktails in the cocktail bar. A wonderful day and experience.

We were a group of five adults and three kids, staying two nights for a 70th birthday. The hotel and its setting are stunning, and it manages to feel both luxurious and relaxed. It's nicely suited to children, and the deal with meals included was good value. The pool was lovely. On Sunday evening the food took a very long time, and loud AC units and boilers outside two of our three rooms made it hard to sleep. Rebekah at the desk understood and found the birthday girl a bigger, quieter room, which helped a lot. The staff really made the place for us: friendly, welcoming and eager to help.

We had such a good two-night stay. The hotel was spotless throughout, and the rooms were very spacious, with dressing gowns and slippers in the wardrobe. Breakfast was beautiful, and all the food was delicious. The gastro bar had amazing music, and the pool and jacuzzi were great, with staff checking the water regularly. The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

We booked one night before attending an event the following day, and had a wonderful stay. The main restaurant served an incredible dinner, and the attentive team handled our special requests without any fuss. Breakfast was top quality too, served in lovely surroundings. The hotel has magnificent decor and the staff were very friendly. We WILL be back.

The bar was so cosy, the restaurant food delicious, and the staff made us feel very welcome. We loved our two-night stay at this really beautiful hotel. Highly recommended.
