The takeaway was really tasty, good value, and they brought it to our room. We were also welcomed warmly by a lovely staff member. The place has changed hands, I think, and I wish the new people well. The ice cream shop was closed for refurbishment while we were there. The room itself was clean, with soft, fresh bedding and good pillows. The bathroom was clean too, though there was a slight drain smell that went away when we shut the door. The rooms could use some decorating, especially that carpet. The mattress was far too soft and left my back aching. I barely slept, with the mattress and cars coming and going until the early hours. Getting into the parking spaces was difficult, and the outside area felt chaotic with the garage on the corner using part of the parking. The prices were good, but that mattress was a shame. Also, it isn't called this anymore.

The room was clean and had enough space for what we needed for the night. The welcome was friendly too.

The owner was polite and helpful, but I barely slept. The heater wasn't working well, so the room was cold, and people in adjoining rooms were talking loudly and slamming doors until the early hours. When I arrived, the reception area was still being built, and it felt like walking into a building site.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Rahman. We stayed for two nights over the bank holiday weekend and had no complaints. It was clean and quiet, and the beds were comfortable. I'd definitely stay again.
