The cabin was clean and compact, and the host responded quickly when we needed something. It’s a lovely base for exploring the Northumberland coast, with a lake nearby where we saw ducks and swans. The hot tub was lovely for stargazing. I was a little disappointed by the Crazy Horse bar and grill.

A wonderful holiday in a beautiful cabin. The woodland scenery and walks around the lake were so peaceful and romantic, and the restaurant served delicious food. The log cabin had a hot tub too.

We stayed over New Year and the lodge felt so homely, with a lovely view of the lake from the hot tub. Diane was at the end of the phone, though we didn’t need to call her. We couldn’t have asked for a better lodge and will definitely return.

A clean, practical cabin that’s nicely equipped. The hot tub was well maintained.
