We arrived later than planned because of traffic, and our host stayed up to let us in. They also gave us really useful ideas for things to do nearby. The B&B had a lovely feel, and both the room and ensuite were clean and tidy.

The countryside gets completely dark, so bring a torch if you're walking back from one of the good nearby pubs. We had a lovely night here, with amazing views from our large, comfortable room. Linda and her family were fantastic hosts, including their very friendly cats, dogs and horses.

Lynda was extremely charming and friendly, and we had a good stay. The room and bathroom were clean and fine, though a bit aged. Breakfast had a choice of breads and cooked dishes, but was very standard, without the fancier touches we've had elsewhere. The very high ratings I'd seen here and on another Booking site had raised my expectations before we arrived.

The owner was so welcoming and accommodating, and made an absolutely phenomenal breakfast. It’s a delightful little cottage, and I’d definitely stay again when I’m in Burwash. Also, she has the cutest cat and dog.

Linda and Maisie made us feel so welcome. Such a beautiful place to stay.
