Friendly, helpful staff, good service and clean rooms. Great value for the money, and a welcome break from central London.

Peter and Oliver made my one-night stop feel special. I was travelling from London to Cornwall and was glad to find a green-powered inn along the way. I'd expected a basic, comfortable single room and breakfast the next morning for a small fee. Instead, I was charmed by the hosts, their warmth, their hospitality, and their interesting back story. The place felt delightfully informal. My room was clean and comfortable, and Peter's Spanish-inspired breakfast was delicious. A lovely stay.

We spent two nights here while my husband had something planned at blackbushe airport. The self-catered apartment was great and had everything we needed. It was peaceful, the staff were friendly, and it felt like a home away from home. The location was amazing. We're already planning to come back and would recommend it to friends and family.

I checked out early after the EV charger was still blocked at 8am, leaving me with a nearly flat battery. I'd booked somewhere with car charging, so having to look for other local chargers and go out of my way was especially frustrating. I asked to use the charger when I arrived around 8pm, but a non-electric 90s jaguar was parked in front of it. Staff said the gentleman would leave early, but didn't seem to make much effort to ask him to move. We had agreed the charger would be free in the early hours, but plans changed and it wasn't available at the time they'd said. Why not ask non-electric cars not to park there? The corridors smelled strongly of pet urine, although thankfully the room itself didn't. The room and bathroom were clean, had toiletries, and I slept comfortably. Staff were friendly when I arrived, called to check I was still coming after my four-hour trip to visit family, and offered breakfast options. I could still get into the room when I returned around 11pm after a meal with family nearby. Update: avoid staying here with an EV. The owner called my review unfair, but the corridors did stink of urine and I couldn't charge my car because one of the two spaces was occupied by a non-electric car. I left early.
