The veranda at Dartmoor View Lodge is lovely for sitting out, unwinding and watching the sun go down. Len, Pat and Katie were very hospitable, available if we needed them but happy to leave us to enjoy the peace and quiet. The lodge was warm and comfortable, and we hope to visit again soon. April 2023. It's a beautiful three-bedroom lodge on the edge of Dartmoor national park, with a stunning panoramic view through all its windows. The spacious combined lounge, diner and kitchen has a big table for meals or games and two comfy leather sofas for watching a movie. The kitchen is small but well equipped, with a cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. There's a family bathroom with a bath, wash hand basin and WC, plus a double bedroom with an ensuite shower, wash hand basin and WC, a twin room and a smaller single room.

The views of Dartmoor are fantastic, and it was so peaceful and quiet. Beautiful, spacious accommodation, and the best place we've stayed. Looking forward to coming back.
