Melbury Guest House

We’ve stayed at Melbury Rooms several times now and are already looking forward to another visit. The hosts are always warm and welcoming, and it’s a lovely touch to find sweets waiting when we arrive. Inside, the rooms are comfortable, beautifully kept and spotless every time. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the place. It’s a wonderful place to stay, and we can definitely recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere comfortable and welcoming.

On my return visit, the management team were very helpful and accommodating. I loved staying at Melbury in 5/25, and it’s a fantastic place in a central spot, just a short walk from John Lewis store. Most rooms have what you need for self-catering, and there’s also a shared kitchen for cooking and dining, plus laundry facilities. There’s a lovely, quiet courtyard for smokers and non-smokers too. Highly recommend it!

The location puts Melbury right in the city centre, so getting around Exeter was easy. We spent over two weeks in Studio 1, which was clean and well equipped. Elliot and his team gave us excellent service, and the shared kitchen and other common areas were all well organised and managed. An excellent stay 👍

Our studio was comfortable, very clean and had all the amenities. The location was excellent, and having baggage storage available was a welcome bonus, as it isn’t always offered.
