Parking right in front of the flat was handy, and The Coach House was well placed for visiting family nearby. Inside, the beds were comfortable and the shower was very good, but the duvet kept sliding out because its cover wouldn’t close properly. Charlie responded quickly when I messaged about problems. The flat is missing basics such as oven gloves, scissors, champagne glasses and a salad bowl, though, and really needs a full inventory and a lot of maintenance. It also hadn’t been cleaned properly when we arrived. I questioned the cleaning, but Charlie sent photos from the cleaner, which didn’t show whether the kitchen had actually been cleaned well. That kitchen needs a deep clean. We were charged 25 Pounds for a two-hour early check-in even though we were staying for two weeks. I’ve never been charged for early check-in at any of the rental places I’ve stayed before.
