Anna looked after us at lunch today, attentive without being in your face. The carvery was excellent, and Anna made the visit friendly but professional. I like giving praise where it’s due. Thank you, Anna.

My daughter’s wedding reception went so smoothly here. The staff helped us plan beforehand and were attentive and accommodating during the event, making it a fun, memorable occasion. I’d highly recommend the venue.

We’d been loyal regulars for over 14 years, visiting throughout the year, and always thought this was the best carvery around. After what happened at my elderly disabled mum’s birthday dinner last night, we won’t be coming back. The disabled access and facilities need attention. This place is certainly not disabled-friendly. Someone had parked at the top of the disabled drop-off area, leaving me able to park only halfway. Mum uses a rollator, and trying to push it was exhausting and difficult for her. My sister-in-law is on crutches and had the same problem. I complained to a staff member, but he did nothing. When we were leaving, the car was still there. After I complained again, it took 20 minutes before someone asked the owner to move it. I think he was the DJ. He came out and said people usually walk down the side of his car, then eventually moved it so I could reverse up to the flat area and help Mum get in. The carvery food was only warm and the service wasn’t very good. The staff attitude and the whole experience left us unwilling to return.

The buffet breakfast had a lovely range of options for different tastes. Staff were caring, knowledgeable and high quality, and the welcome was really warm. An excellent experience.
