We spent the week in beautiful sunshine, though I can't credit the campsite for the weather! All in all, 10/10. Our pitch was 402, spacious and green, and the site felt peaceful and calm. The toilet block was clean, there was hot water for washing up, and everything was clearly marked. It seemed quite eco-friendly, with plenty of tents and fewer caravans and motorhomes. We walked and cycled into exmouth and to the beach. The lane is narrow and hilly, but the distance isn't far and it's manageable. We didn't find a motorhome service point, though the taps were near the road, so we could fill up as we came in.

We only needed one night at Prattshayes campsite on the drive home from a tour of mainland Europe, and it turned out to be a lucky find. It cost £25.00 for two adults, a fair price for the location. The site has grass pitches with electric hookups and modern toilet, shower, and washing-up facilities. Booking online was super efficient, with a pitch assigned and emailed almost instantly. We arrived around 18:00 and got a very friendly welcome. Exmouth beach is a 20-minute walk or five-minute drive away, and there's a nice-looking pub serving food about five minutes on foot, though we didn't visit it. We'd definitely stay at this clean, quiet, friendly site again.

The pitches for campers and the like are nice and fairly flat, and the grass pitch with electric hookup was very reasonably priced. The facilities are excellent. It's an easy bus ride or hike into town. I'm not a dog owner, but there's an exercise area and waste bins for dogs.

We came midweek and found this lovely little campsite peaceful. It's about a 20-minute walk to the beach, and the staff were polite and attentive. The toilets and showers were clean, modern, and well looked after. It was perfect for R'nR, and we'll definitely be back.

The showers were spotless and looked almost new, and there’s a sweet little shop and bar where you can grab a pint of beer or cider and sit outside on one of the few benches. The pitches are a good size and well cared for. It’s peaceful here, but Exmouth beach is only a couple of minutes away by car. Turn right out of the campsite and follow the road down to the sea, and you end up by the lifeboat station and Foxholes car park. Dogs are welcome. I’d happily come back.
