Breakfast was good, and the rooms were pleasant and clean, with a really nice finish. Sarah and Stuart were friendly hosts who gave us space. The location also made a great base for exploring the east coast. I’d recommend it any time.

We only stopped because a queue behind a wide load truck sent us off the A1, and we found this beautiful little gem. The ambience was excellent, with friendly dogs that completely enchanted our grandson. The food was superb, especially the best Sunday roast I’ve ever had, though I hope my wife doesn’t see that. My foodie daughter was also impressed by a couple of clever touches. We’ll go again.

The breakfast was excellent, and the accommodation was spotless with plenty of free parking. It’s nicely situated too, and the host was friendly. We’d definitely come back.
