The hot tub was a highlight, and the canopy meant we could stay in it when it rained. There’s also a privacy screen, a thoughtful touch. The lodge came with some supplies, which we appreciated, and had everything we needed, from a fridge to a TV, plus WiFi on site. Weedingshall Lodges are easy to find and make a great base for exploring this part of Scotland. We got a warm welcome, and the lodges are among the best I’ve stayed in at holiday parks. You can see the care and attention the team has put into getting everything right.

We’re already talking about coming back after our second stay at Weedingshall Lodges. The owners are so friendly and made us feel at home, and we really liked the welcome basket. The surroundings are beautiful, with plenty of attractions a short distance away. The location worked perfectly for us, and the amenities made everything comfortable and convenient. We had a lovely time again.

Falkirk, Linlithgow, Stirling, Edinburgh and Glasgow were all easy to reach by bike, train, bus or car, which made the location feel surprisingly central. My wife, Marley the dog and I had a great short stay at this hidden gem. The owners and staff were pleasant and welcoming.

The pod was cosy, and the hot tub was fab, but several details spoiled the birthday stay for me. The microwave and the cupboard with the extra pillows and dustpan were dirty. There were marks on the walls beside the bed, and the loose strip between the bathroom and living room floors caught my foot. The cereals and breakfast items were out of date, though the milk, bread and eggs were fine. It was quiet, and after my earlier communication with staff, I’d hoped they might do something special for my birthday. It was okay overall, but unfortunately I won’t be back :(
