I can finally review Kelpies Serviced apartments, since their website wouldn’t let me post one in 2018. The room was clean and nice, but neither the TV nor the microwave worked. I tried to reach a staff member and couldn’t find anyone available. The website described it as a quiet place, but there was a pub or some other venue nearby where people made noise all night, and I couldn’t sleep at all. I wouldn’t recommend it for a holiday, especially if you’re looking for somewhere quiet.

The staff were really friendly, and it’s a great base for travelling to Glasgow and Edinburgh. We had an excellent stay and I’d highly recommend it.

A hand towel would’ve been useful, but otherwise it was nice and clean.
