Chelsea House

We had lovely views and the beds were comfortable. The place was spacious, very clean, and brilliantly furnished, with plenty of kitchen equipment. January wasn’t the best time to fully enjoy it.

I liked my stay in Falmouth so much a few years back that I later booked the same place for my parents, and they came away feeling just as pleased. The owners are lovely and take good care of you, and the breakfast is exceptional. It’s a special little retreat. Thanks for having us, I’m sure we’ll return.

Chelsea House makes a handy base for Cornwall, whether you’re working remotely, with family, or looking to relax or explore. Town is about 10 minutes away and the beach about 5, with a good dog walking path next door and even a poo bin. My dog settled in straight away with the welcome bag and was greeted enthusiastically each morning. The rooms are beautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped, and the other guests were lovely too. Sharon and Nigel have made it feel like an oasis. I’m still thinking about the English Breakfast, and can’t wait to stay again. It’s a great fit for a quiet escape, a trip with your dog, or remote work.

The Scottish porridge was so delicious, I’d never had anything like it, and breakfast in general went beyond what we expected. My mother was finally able to enjoy a continental breakfast too. Sharon welcomed us warmly on arrival, and she and Nigel have created a lovely place where you don’t feel anything is missing. Our room was spotless, well equipped, and full of thoughtful details. The little sweet treats each day were a highlight, even in the typical British weather. Wishing Sharon and Nigel all the best, lots of continued enjoyment, and a full house. Greetings from Germany!
