We'd happily stay again. The hotel is central, just a couple of minutes' walk from Falmouth town centre, and our good-sized room looked out over the harbour. It was clean, with a large comfy bed, an en-suite shower and toilet, and tea and coffee making facilities. There was also a microwave, fridge and TV.

The only downside was wishing we'd booked a longer stay. I spent two nights at the Grove in Falmouth last weekend with two guests. The hotel is beautiful, with perfect rooms and very comfy beds, and everything was absolutely spotless. It's right on the main stretch, with shops within walking distance. I'll definitely visit again and have already recommended it to family and friends.

The self-entry to the hotel and room was very easy, and the owner kindly let us check out as late as we wanted the next day. Thanks! The location was convenient for work, right at the start of Falmouth high street across from a Tesco Express. I stayed one night. I was disappointed that the extra £26 I paid for what I thought was an upgrade got me room 16, which was nice but nothing special. It was at the back of the hotel, so there was no sea view. The website suggested there would be toiletries, so I didn't bring shower gel or shampoo. That was a mistake: they were tiny sachets of body and hair wash. There was a great selection of tea bags, but only two regular coffee sachets; the others were decaf. I'd stay again, but in a standard-rate room.
