For My Old House A Love Poem by anonymous wanderer Your hair shines, just like your eyes, And the house is beautiful, no surprise. Roses are red, the old house is too, Your acquaintance is old, and so are you. The rare ghost orchids bloom in white, While shiny mirrors catch the light. The historic buildings stand with grace, And your old legs keep up the pace. Magnolia buds look just like eggs, Sunflowers stretch up high above, Foxgloves frame the farms around, And feminine arms are wrapped in love. Daisies look pretty, daffies have style, Hidden units and a lovely smile.
