Kinbrae House Holiday Apartments

The apartment was much more than I expected. I know Falmouth, but hadn’t stayed in this place before. It’s a proper apartment, not just a room in a house, and it’s ideally placed between Gylly Beach, about two minutes away, and town, less than ten minutes away. It was easy to park and get in. The decor and furnishings are lovely and thoughtfully done, everything felt new, and it was immaculately clean. The bed was comfy, the shower excellent, and the towels soft. The living room and kitchen were just right for two, with a very well stocked kitchen. I’d highly recommend it and will be back!

The location makes it easy to walk to the seafront or into town, and the rail station is close by. The buses are a bit further on, if you want to travel around Cornwall and leave the car in the spacious car park or garage, depending on your apartment. Our apartment was second to none, with sumptuous bedding and towels, a high spec kitchen fitted with Neff appliances, and a Miele in the utility room. The decor and furnishings were top quality throughout. The owners are local and part of the Fairies cleaning crew. We were welcomed with a Cornish cream tea and fresh fruit, and if you’re lucky, you might meet the hosts and their Fairies. An absolutely fabulous place 💯% 😎.

The apartments are beautifully presented, with modern ensuite bathrooms and kitchens. The rooms are lovely, and the hosts are warm and welcoming. The building has been completely refurbished from top to bottom with real attention to detail. It’s a true gem, only a stone’s throw from Gllyngvase Beach and about a ten minute walk into town.

We stayed in the puffin suite, stylishly done and with all the mod cons. The bed and duvet were so good, we wished we could take them home. There was a lovely fresh afternoon tea waiting when we arrived, and our warm host had great insight into places to eat and things to see. The building itself is lovely, with gorgeous decor throughout.
