The beds were fairly comfortable, although the bedrooms are small. We visited during the Sea Shanty festival, and the place seemed grossly overpriced, as if they were cashing in on festival demand. There were around ten bedrooms but just one shower room and one bathroom, and the only toilets were in those rooms. The shower was stone cold.

Room 1 was lovely, and we wished we could have stayed more than two nights. It was spotless and comfortable, with a sink, TV, plenty of sockets, and even a little kettle with tea, coffee bags and biscuits. The shared toilets and shower were kept very clean, and the kitchen had loads of useful equipment, including an iron, oven, washing machine and toaster. I'd definitely recommend it, especially for the price. Thank you! 😊

Being able to check ourselves in meant there was no rush to arrive at a particular time. The room was very clean and had everything we needed, and we could use a fully equipped kitchen. It's also close to the city centre. We had a great stay.

The bed was comfortable, and the wet room was usable, though it looked unfinished. There was nowhere to put shower items and no emergency pull cord. I stayed for a month and had to ask for fresh bedding and a room clean after I was forgotten. They changed the bedding, but didn't clean or vacuum either the room or the wet room. At first there was no disabled parking, so I had to ask; then I was placed by the bins, near people smoking and drinking outside. It felt like student accommodation at hotel prices, with poor service.

It's an easy walk into town, and we've stayed here twice now. The place is always clean and good value. A full-length mirror in the bedroom and a bathroom shelf for toiletries would be handy. We'll come back again.
