Room 1 was lovely, bright and spacious, and the beach is only a short walk away. We had an amazing stay at The Sandy Duck, with excellent service and breakfast. We’d definitely return on our next trip.

We really liked the design throughout, including in our bedroom, and breakfast was delicious, with locally sourced food. All the staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful. Definitely recommend!

Our ground-floor room had a sea view and still felt private, screened by plants and flowers. The Sandy Duck is very quiet despite being on a main road, and you can walk easily to both the beach and town centre. We only stayed one night, which was a shame, but we’ll be back and are happy to recommend it. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. I had eggs and smoked salmon, while my husband had mushrooms, hummus and eggs. A particularly gracious and friendly waitress served us, and it was her first day.

The staff were superb, and it was a great base for exploring Falmouth. Our room felt cosy and comfortable, and breakfast in the morning was excellent. Everything about the stay was great. One tip: try the Sunday roast at the Pennycomequick, it was fantastic.

We could see the sea from our bedroom, and two lovely beaches were within walking distance. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Falmouth town station, or around five minutes by taxi, with information about local attractions available. Our room had a calming feel, and the waterfall shower was excellent. Staff did everything they could to make us comfortable. Breakfast was yummy, and having freshly made cake offered each day was such a lovely touch. A lovely, quiet boutique hotel. I highly recommend it.
