We found it easy to switch off here, and the lack of wifi in our particular hut helped since we struggle to relax otherwise. The hut was very pretty, with a super comfy bed, a powerful shower, and a fire pit we loved. It's a stunning spot, away from road noise, with only birdsong and sheep in the neighbouring field. Can't wait to return.

A pub and a couple of cafes are in the village, and the cabin has everything you need for self-catering. We stayed here with my fiancé and loved the cosy little place. It was ideal for our trip to the observatory, which is very close by. I'd recommend a stay, though the weather was rubbish, so we couldn't use the firepit. I don't think there are many places like it.

The cabin was really well kitted out, with good kitchen facilities and an excellent shower. I rarely give five stars, and the one thing that held me back was the wifi. The instructions said it was available, but there was no signal in the cabin and no mobile phone signal at all. You could only get wifi near the entrance. The owners need a repeater near green cabin. Otherwise, excellent. Thanks 👌

The location was idyllic, and the hut had everything we needed for three nights. The bed was comfy, and the shower was hot and powerful. It was perfect, and I'd definitely recommend it.

A lovely little shepherds hut with all the facilities you could need. There are two pubs in the village, though they're closed on Monday and Tuesday.
