Horse and Jockey

The roast was terrible. The food was very bland, the Yorkshire puddings were badly undercooked and doughy, and there wasn’t much choice of vegetables. The cabbage and carrots were soggy, the gammon was very thin, and the gravy was watery. There was no stuffing or cauliflower cheese.

The staff were super lovely and the food was amazing all round. Really enjoyed visiting the pub, and it’s very welcoming to children and dogs. My mother-in-law said her pizza was the best vegan pizza she’d ever had.

We came for our motorcycle club’s monthly breakfast. The fry-up was excellent and good value, service was quick, and the pub was clean with a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend ☺️

We came to hear The Ukey Dukes play live and decided to eat beforehand. It turned into a great evening, with fantastic music and staff who were incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful. The lamb shoulder was delicious, but the seafood linguini let us down. It was very dry, with hardly any sauce or seafood.
