Over the last 11 months I’ve stayed in more than 100 places, and this was the best. The cottage is wonderful, with lovely peaceful surroundings and wonderful views. Paul and Debbie are the nicest people you could hope to meet, and they bend over backwards to make your stay a delight.

We had to cancel just 5 days before our stay at the cottages, which was part of a wider family event in the area. With the pandemic and the kids needing to evacuate before the borders closed, we contacted Paul and Debbie. They were gracious and understanding, and even refunded our “non-refundable” deposit, which is no small thing in uncertain times. Their kindness has won our future custom and reminded us that there are a lot of decent people out there. Thank you, Paul and Debbie.

I come back year after year, and this is by far the BEST place I’ve ever stayed. The price is insanely good value, the cottages are AMAZING, and Paul and Debbie are the best hosts you could wish for. Carden Cottages is top class. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here.

I’ve already booked another break here. The owners are lovely and really care about your stay, the facilities are amazing, and the price is great. This place is absolutely unbelievable. Even the toilet roll was folded!

All you can hear here are the birds, so it’s perfect for destressing. The views of the countryside and wildlife are stunning. There’s an oyster catcher nesting in the flowerbed at the moment, and the weather is fantastic too. Hoping to catch a glimpse of the marine wildlife later today.
