Having a kitchen and more room than a hotel made our London trip much easier, and the apartment was comfortable, stylish, and clean. The bed was cozy, the WiFi worked reliably, and everything seemed well looked after. Even in central London, the stay felt peaceful and convenient. Paddington Station is only a short walk away, with the Tube, Heathrow Express, shops, and restaurants all close by. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. We had a great stay and would happily come back or recommend it.

The apartment was a comfortable little retreat after being out in the city. It was clean and modern, with a fully equipped kitchen and separate dining area. We saved money by making breakfast there. The air conditioning was great, the WiFi was fast, and the bed was really comfortable. We also liked having Bella Italia on site and a 24-hour gym. It’s a good mix of apartment space and hotel services. Getting around was easy, with Paddington Station just a two-minute walk away and the Heathrow Express right there. Hyde Park and Oxford Street were also an easy stroll. There’s no elevator in the old building, but the staff were very friendly and helped with our luggage. We’d highly recommend 12 London Street Apartments, especially if location matters most.
Everything I needed was there, and the apartment was very clean. I was pleasantly surprised that hotel staff came over to help with the luggage and show me around. Thanks to Anna for all the help, and to the whole friendly team. One of the best apartment stays in Paddington, I’d say.
The apartments are really well equipped, and you can even order room service from the Bella Italia next door. The location is great too.
This is a budget place, so don’t expect five-star rooms. The rooms were clean, but in a city they’re noisy at any time of day or night. It may be adequate for two, but I wouldn’t recommend it for four. There were no fire alarms, no hooks or towel rail in the bathroom, and the towels were on the floor when we arrived. The table wasn’t big enough for four, the central toilet flushed poorly and left solids behind, and the stove vent blew into the ceiling. Indigo reception would only offer housekeeping help and wouldn’t deal with the actual problems. We stayed over a week and asked for a second two-foot by two-foot dining table. The front desk just said, “We’ll see what we can do,” then sent housekeeping to see if a nightstand could be moved beside the table for extra serving space. A joke. If you’re booking a discount flat so you can cook, be aware of what’s provided: one 12-inch pan, a tiny scratched-up four-inch Teflon pot, and a stove with all its numbers worn off. There was one nine-inch baking pan for the oven, but no mitt or trivet. It felt more like a hotel suite than an apartment for four, as if the place was just trying to cover its monthly rent.
