Ferryside Farm

I pitched a tent here and found the site a real gem. The owner was friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean. There are lovely views, plus easy walks around the village and beach. I highly recommend taking the ferry across the estuary to visit the castle.

We spent the weekend here in our campervan. It was £50 for two nights, and the site was really well kept with brilliant facilities. The owner was such a lovely, friendly guy. The estuary views are beautiful, and we’ll definitely come back. You’ll need 20p for the shower.

Phil, who runs the site, was helpful and informative, and checked that everything was all right. The pitches are a fantastic size, with water and electric hook-up. We booked a couple of days over the bank holiday weekend with our motorhome and were so glad we did. The site is spotlessly clean and tidy. The bathroom and shower facilities are brilliant, with roomy showers and plenty of sink space for washing up. The water was a good temperature, and showers cost 20p for 5 minutes or 40p for 10 minutes. We can’t recommend it enough if you’re after beautiful views and peace and quiet. Thanks, Phil! A lovely, quiet site with stunning views. There’s a wash-up area, laundry room, toilet waste point and a few fresh water taps. The toilets and showers were clean. Phil, the owner, is around and very helpful with information about walks and places to eat and drink. He also checks that everything’s all right for you. There’s a ferry to Llansteffan, and we’ll definitely return.
