Three Rivers Hotel

I love this place. This was my second visit to catch up with my sister. It’s quirky and relaxed, with no dramas, just delicious food and great service from Jackie and the team. They go above and beyond most hotels. My room was cosy and warm, and the hot water was amazing. Maintenance was being done on the pool area walls and floor, but we still enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and everything. I always love my weekends here and never want to leave. Thank you all, Jennifer ❤️

It felt like an odd place when I arrived in the afternoon. There were no lights on, and the bar area looked empty and closed. I heard a voice that seemed to come from the bar, though nobody was visible at first. Then I spotted someone sitting there, who confirmed the hotel was open. I had a nice coffee, but food wasn’t available until later. A few locals and residents gradually came in. We sat in the conservatory, facing the car park and caravans. I think it could be great if you were staying here.

For the price, I found it disappointing, and wish I’d read the reviews before booking. I paid extra for a balcony view, but the outside drinking area is right below the balconies, so a room at the back would have been quieter and more relaxing. I left the doors open for a while, but there was constant talking that got louder as the evening went on. The view was of the car park and static caravans, with the estuary in the background. That may explain why there aren’t balcony view photos in the gallery. I’ve attached one of my own.

The welcome was amazing, and the bar felt familiar right away, with a mix of guests and locals. Our room was spacious, and it was lovely to have the dogs welcome. Thank you for loving my golden retrievers as much as we do. We loved our stay. The pool and facilities were amazing and being upgraded. I loved hearing about the plans and the passion for improving the hotel. Thank you, Jackie and all the staff. We’re not rich, but every pound was well worth spending xx
