Travelodge Bristol Abbey Wood

Getting into the city centre takes a while, though driving or taking the public bus makes it manageable. I stayed one night and had a pleasant time. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was fairly priced at £11 for a full English. My room was clean, apart from a couple of hairs in the bathroom, but it wasn't a big deal.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout all three nights, which I really appreciated. I stayed from 12th December in both a standard family room and a super room family room, and each was clean and spacious. The rooms were quiet thanks to good soundproofing, and had modern air con and heating, plus power showers. The complimentary hot chocolate sachets and chocolate bars were a nice extra. Thank you!

We didn't eat at the hotel, but there's plenty of choice right outside, along with a large supermarket. Filton Abbey Wood railway station is also within walking distance. Our family enjoyed two nights here: the rooms were comfortable, clean and well equipped, and the family room was a great size. The place feels fairly new, with a smart, stylish look. Staff were especially polite and helpful and made us feel welcome. I'd definitely recommend it.

Nikkiey and Joanna were a huge help, especially with the parking challenges, and handled things with real common sense. The bar is lovely, and the location is very handy for the retail park and several restaurants. Really can't rate the staff highly enough.
