Marion and Graeme's warmth and care are what I'll remember most. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and make the visit special. My wife and I came to Scotland for the first time in July 2024 with seven friends, and stayed five days at Coig na Shee Guest House. The beautiful home had clean, comfortable rooms, and our hosts laid out an exemplary breakfast table each day. Its location also made a wonderful gateway to the Highlands. Thanks to Coig na Shee Guest House for helping make our trip so special.

Newtonmore is a good base for exploring the Highlands, with local restaurants, pubs, shops and cafes that suit a small town. Coig na Shee is a well-run, high-quality place with excellent rooms and shared spaces. The hosts were unfailingly friendly, helpful and polite. We had breakfast each day and dinner once, and the food was good with a nice choice. The fitout suits the building's age while including useful modern updates, such as the bathrooms. I stayed as part of a Wilderness Scotland walking tour of the Cairngorms.

The breakfast room was spacious, with daily specials that changed alongside the main menu. You had to book the night before. We tried blueberry pancakes with bacon one day, then poached eggs and avocado, and both were tasty. There was also a basket of OS maps to look through and borrow for the day. We had a recently refreshed twin room, or at least it seemed that way, with comfortable beds and a good shower. The owners kept everything clean and organised and looked after us well. It's a lovely guest house in a late Victorian villa, perched above the edge of Newtonmore. I'd definitely return.

We only had one night, and I wish we'd been able to stay longer. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and the cozy B&B was very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, healthy and delicious. My partner said the scrambled eggs were the best he'd ever had. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely conversation with our very welcoming hosts. Coig Na Shee is a beautiful, cozy house with a charming garden and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Thanks from three friends from Spain!
