Crowwood Hotel Glasgow

I was staying here with my partner as part of a German travel group. Our room and bathroom were very nice and comfortable, but the cleanliness overall was lacking. It seemed they only made the beds and changed towels during our stay. I would have appreciated the room and bathroom being vacuumed. Still, it was a decent hotel, and all the reception staff were very nice and professional.

We stayed locally for a family wedding in late October. The rooms were tidy and clean but very dated, and there was a strong cannabis smell in the corridor by our rooms. We told reception, but nothing was done. The £10 breakfast wasn't worth the money either. On Friday night the women serving our food were great, but the lady taking the order was abrupt and very rude. She needs to work on customer service and politeness.

This was a last-minute booking, and the friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms were great. The restaurant was a lovely surprise, a real hidden gem. We had the best Indian food we've ever had, and it was very reasonably priced. I'd book ahead, though, as it's very popular.

The restaurant food was amazing and good value when bought before 6pm. The hotel itself is good value too, clean and surprisingly quiet, on the outskirts of Glasgow.
