The Mackintosh Suite was the highlight, with its huge windows, tasteful furnishings and lovely bathroom. It was spotless, very quiet and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast came hot and on time, with plenty of tasty choices. Lorraine was a fabulous host, full of helpful tips on food, drinks and getting around Glasgow, and she has thought of so many little conveniences for guests. I stayed in late September 2025 and would choose this place first if I return. She made my time in the city memorable, and I can't thank her enough.

We were surprised how peaceful the house was despite being so conveniently placed. Kelvingrove Art Gallery & park, the University area, shops and restaurants were all an easy walk away. The rooms are large with high ceilings and modern bathrooms, and our breakfast was delicious and brought right to the room. Lorraine was a lovely host and shared lots of useful information. She pointed us to 5March just down the road, which was fabulous. A characterful home in a great spot.

Breakfast was fantastic and well organized, and the owner was friendly and helpful. We've rarely stayed somewhere as clean as this, easily a 10/10 for cleanliness. The neighborhood is quiet, with good dining nearby and easy access to Glasgow city centre. One small drawback: the Wi-Fi was very weak. For a leisure trip that may not matter, but anyone needing to work will have a challenge.

We had the Thistle Room, which was spacious, comfortable and nicely equipped. The included breakfast was delicious, and the little extras were handy: plush towels, an adapter for North American plugs, a games room, DVDs and fridge space for our things. Lorraine is lovely and knows the area inside out. The Victorian townhouse is gorgeous and sits in the west end, with restaurants, museums and the City Centre easy to reach. Five stars!

We felt really well looked after and had a great stay. The room was roomy, clean and comfortable, with a bit of style, and there were lots of useful things provided to make things easier. Parking off the street at the back was a real perk. It's a nice place to unwind in the city, close to bars, restaurants and other things to do. A few house quirks to know: shoes stay off indoors, slippers are provided, and you order breakfast the night before for delivery to your room in the morning.
