The owners were friendly and helpful the whole weekend, and finding a place to park on the street outside wasn't a problem. We had a great time with our group of 10. The pub felt cosy and full of character, with clean, tidy rooms, each with an en suite and tea and coffee facilities. We also had beer on tap and a well-equipped kitchen for cooking our meals. Highly recommended.

The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and the cleaner did a great job keeping plenty of clean glasses ready. Our group of seven had a really enjoyable long weekend at The Fitzhead Inn. David welcomed us on Friday afternoon and took time to show us around, friendly and efficient throughout. The rooms were warm and cosy, with comfortable beds, en suites, tea making facilities and TVs. We bought two barrels, Exmoor Ale and Birra Poretti, and pulling our own pints was fun. My only very minor moan is that the dartboard looks well worn and could probably do with replacing soon.

The satnav sent us along some pretty interesting routes to get there, but I'd still recommend the stay. The courtyard was a nice place to spend time, and dinner both nights was lovely and reasonably priced. We got a friendly welcome, the rooms were well presented and the beds comfortable. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and all the staff were friendly and made the stay more enjoyable.

Getting there meant driving along proper Somerset lanes, so I'd upgrade my satnav before going again. Parking in the village wasn't a problem. The bedrooms are all on the ground floor, very clean and comfortable, with showers and other facilities. There's a handrail by the two steps up to the bar snug, which made them manageable for disabled access. It's a quirky, pleasant place for a group of around 10, with the snug bar and a large kitchen if you want to use it. The owner was very helpful and arranged beer and cider. Yes, I'd go again.

Despite still calling itself an inn, this isn't a pub open to the public anymore. It's only available as private holiday accommodation. There's no dedicated parking, so renters have to hope for a space on the nearby narrow lanes, which are already full of local residents.
