A handy, central base for the south coast, with a quiet, peaceful feel, outdoor areas for guests and plenty of parking. The decor is looking worn and could use a touch-up, and the furniture has seen better days. Some plates and cups were chipped, and the knives and forks were cheap. We also spent the two weeks repeatedly trying to get slugs out of the bathroom.

A beautiful river runs behind the cottage, and the New Forest is only a stone’s throw away, so the location was perfect. The house was clean and decorated really well, with high quality amenities. The hosts had thought of everything, and the welcome pack was fantastic. A perfect holiday cottage.

Driving through the New Forest and arriving at this incredible place was fantastic. It was a stunning venue even in March, and Sandra was a thoughtful, wonderful host. I’d love to see it in summer and hopefully will book again. Highly recommended.

The hosts were fantastic, sorting out the rebooking before we arrived because of lockdown and checking everything was okay during our stay. The accommodation was lovely, super clean and had great facilities. Such a beautiful location. We'd definitely recommend it and come back!

We stayed for four days with four guests in one of the cottages, booked as part of a larger stay on Eastmills Island. It was comfortable throughout, with no issues, and we were really impressed by how clean and well maintained it was.
