What a great meal in a gorgeous little village pub. We were greeted and shown to a table as soon as we walked in. We ordered soup, baked bread, lamb kofta and sausage, with lemonade and a marmalade martini. The portions for the other courses were so generous that we had the marmalade bread and butter pudding and the smoothest, creamiest Biscoff cheesecake boxed up to take home. Scott looked after us brilliantly. He was polite, helpful, knew the menu and what went well together, and had lots of recommendations. I'd happily go back, and booking a table is a good idea. The car park is small, but it's easy to park on the road.

Can't fault the food or service here. The steak was packed with flavour, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. It's a lovely little pub with food on another level. I'd love to come back.

We had dinner for two in this warm, cosy, inviting pub and both ordered the rib-eye. It was delicious and cooked just right, with chips, onion rings, grilled tomato and Caesar salad. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was great. This has become our favourite place to eat, number one for us. We'd highly recommend it and will definitely return.

Right in the heart of Clearwell, this welcoming pub and restaurant has a lovely setting, plenty of outdoor seats and a dog-friendly bar area. It has parking for around 10 cars, a clean, well-kept interior and a great atmosphere. Staff were friendly. We tried the sirloin and rump steaks, both cooked perfectly and served with generous sides. Absolutely delicious. Dessert was worth staying for too: the pecan brownie and trio of chocolate ice cream were a highlight. You have to try the chocolate ice cream 😋 We'll be back soon to try the Sunday roast, and it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
