A beautiful hotel, spacious and clean, with attentive staff who were welcoming and friendly. It was very reasonably priced, and they welcomed us at check in and helped at check out. Can’t fault it!

At £50 a night, the room is amazing value if you’re spending a few days in the area. It was clean, with clean bedding and more than adequate tea and coffee facilities, plus biscuits! The staff are fantastic, and the bar was full of friendly customers enjoying a typically British pub atmosphere. It’s a little piece of England in a charming village, with the whole area echoing a time so dear to many.

There was a little noise since it’s above a pub and right on the main road. The beds were comfortable enough, with fresh linen, and the locals were friendly and happy to chat. The staff were brilliant, very friendly, and check in was really easy. It’s a reasonably good place in the middle of a friendly, beautiful location. Thanks to everyone at the George 😎.

It’s an authentic place with friendly, helpful staff. The building isn’t the most modern, and the maintenance could be better.
