We had a relaxing stay and were looked after with care by the friendly hosts. The hotel is pleasant, in a beautiful place with a sense of history, and it’s absolutely dog friendly. Breakfast was delicious, and dinner was very tasty with plenty of variety on the menu. Thanks for everything. Principessa Bella and I will definitely be back!!!

The building and location are lovely, which makes what happened a shame. The pub was empty, yet my food order came out wrong. When I asked about it, the response felt odd and defensive, and nothing was done. I was left with the wrong dish and a strange atmosphere, so I left quickly. Friendly staff, but a very odd experience.

The view from the Inn was amazing, and the food was lovely. I stayed two nights in old fashioned accommodation with a shared bathroom. It was extremely clean, and the welcome was warm.

The view, right under the Severn Bridge, is quite something, and there’s a nice bar and decent restaurant. Our room was basic and had no en-suite, but the price reflected that. There were other rooms to choose from. We were three removal guys with a big truck, and parking can be tricky, but the car park handled it easily. As a last minute place to stay off the street, it’s ideal. Dogs are welcome warmly, and rooms are available for an overnight stay with them. Would I recommend it? I’d stop there again, though in a car, you can make your own choice.

The views are great, but the place feels strange. The barman struck me as a really odd bloke, and I get the impression he inherited the place and is waiting for it to go bankrupt. There’s hardly anyone here, and I can’t picture people coming back. I’d be amazed if it’s still open in a year.
